Crenshaw Montessori Academy
Founded in 1977, Crenshaw Montessori Academy (CMA) is a preschool and kindergarten offering advanced individualized Montessori style teaching for children ages 2-6. Crenshaw Montessori Academy is a space where learning is natural and the teacher and environment work together to prepare children for adolescence.Aware of each student’s progress, the teacher is able to offer guidance and challenge students to master key concepts and skills with a hands on approach. The teachers encourage children’s interaction with their environment to inspire independent learning. At Crenshaw Montessori Academy, you will see your child grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and cognitively. The school operates Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 6:00 pm and Piano classes are held 8:00 am to 2:00pm on Saturday. Currently, CMA employs 3 full-time staff and 37 students attend. CMA is located on the east side of Crenshaw Boulevard at 4914 S. Crenshaw Boulevard.
