The Metaphor Club
The Metaphor Club in Leimert Park takes a new twist on a coworking space where writers, creators, and intellectuals can gather to work right in the heart of Leimert Park, center of the Los Angeles Pan African Arts District. The space is fit with high speed internet, gourmet tea & coffee from local cafe, 4k flat screen tv. There are also plenty of different work spaces with bar stools, soft chairs, bean bags, couches or tables to fit your liking as well as a gallery space for rental.
The Metaphor Club also holds events for the community with writers, producers, executives and other leaders in the creative sphere. It is a Black owned space designed purposefully to be an inclusive, authentic, and organic space for conversation and collaboration. The Metaphor Club serves as a space to produce smart digital content to a social media demographic that thirsts for it.

Harun Coffee
Harun Coffee & Gallery opened up its doors July 1, 2018 as a space where coffee, art and culture live in the Leimert Park Village. A cafe on one side, and a gallery on the other, Harun adds to the culture of creative coworking within the community.

Hot & Cool Cafe
Hot and Cool Café is the latest addition to Leimert Park Village. The specialty coffee house is painted with bright colors and has a minimalist vibe. Owner, Anthony Jolly, is a coffee expert, with over two decades of experience as a business consultant in the coffee industry. Hot and Cool Café serves fresh, exotic ground coffee, café lattes, cappuccinos, hot and cold teas, ice cream, a variety of pastries, cookies, quiches and more. They specialize in Ethiopian Coffee. Hot and Cool Cafe also incorporates original art from local artists as a part of the café’s aesthetic, rotating art displays monthly.
Hot and Cool hosts a breadth of weekly events for the community to enjoy the space, food, and neighborhood. Events include brunches and open mic nights. Hot and Cool Cafe is a place of collaboration and synergy in the heart of Leimert Park.

Ride On Bike Shop/Co-op
Ride On Bike shop is a full service bike shop, offering repairs, sales and rentals. The co-op is a member run bicycle collective that provides tools, space and a community gathering spots (by appointment) to facilitate bike repair education. Ride On! also conducts workshops on bike safety and advocates where bicycle infrastructure equity in South-West Los Angeles. They have created a special place for bike lovers and community members alike can receive the bike services they need while gaining essential bike knowledge to encourage a healthier and safer environment.
Ride on also hosts a variety of community events, like salsa on Sundays, community bike rides, and classes about bicycle and pedestrian safety in Leimert Park community.

Rosstein Clothing
Rosstein Clothing is a Los Angeles based brand dedicated to producing high quality streetwear at an affordable price. Originally located in the Melrose/Fairfax District, Rosstein saw a need to bring that same energy to the neighborhood of the consumers, the Crenshaw district. Rosstein Clothing believes that everyone deserves to look and feel fresh without having to lose out on quality or spend an arm & leg to get it.
